The Day I Forgot it was Summer

I (Alisa) subscribe to a few blogs. A lot of them are food blogs that I like to get new recipe ideas from.  Today I was scrolling down my list, seeing if I would actually like to read any I saw one that said, "Summer Potato Salad with Apples". I honestly was like "SUMMER potato salad? Why would they post that recipe at this time of the year?" Then, I slowly realized it actually is in fact still summer. Just because it just got barely above 60 degrees today and was raining all day (as it has been all week and is going to be all this next week), doesn't mean that this isn't summer.

I guess I am still learning the mysteries of Ireland.
