Good Friday & Easter 2018
On Good Friday we had a worship night at the church. Stephen and Tiffanie lead songs and Luke preached a mini-sermon. It was a special time of worship. Sadly, Silas and I were sick, so I just stayed home with the boys. We were able to watch the service over Facebook.
Just so you know, if you ever want to see what a Sunday morning is like (or our Good Friday service), you can watch our service on Facebook. Look us up at "Community Christian Church Moycullen".
On Easter Sunday Stephen preached, Tiffanie lead music, and Luke taught the Kids Lesson. We had a full church, but this is the first Easter that we haven't had random visitors stop in! After the service we all shared a meal together. We try to do this every Easter. Our new members from South Africa made lamb and chicken along with other traditional South African vegetable dishes. We also had cheesy potatoes, taco salad, rolls, veggies and dip, chicken and rice casserole, and three desserts (Jello Cake, Raspberry and Pear cobbler, and chocolate no bake cookies). Yum! Everything tasted great. It was a wonderful way to get together and celebrate what Jesus has done for us.
At the end of the meal Luke caught Silas drinking milk straight out of the carton. Silas put his finger over his mouth in a "Shhh! This is our secret" type of a way! Little stinker.
