St.Patrick's Day 2018
We attended our village's community parade for St. Patrick's day this year. Here are a few photos from the event. The boys enjoyed the few sweets people threw to them. Usually we have nicer weather and feel like being out more, but this year it was just above freezing. It was cold!
Also, for your information. Even though it is St. Patrick's day, you cannot shorten the name to "St Patty's Day" as "Patty" is dirivative from "Patricia". If you do shorten it, it is "St. Paddy's Day' as "Paddy" is the male nickname for the Irish "Pádraig" or "Patrick". Now, go share your new-found knowledge with your friends!
