Walk for Freedom
On the 19th of October our church attended a Walk For Freedom in Galway City. It is a walk that is sponsored all over the world by the organisation A21. It is to build awareness about human trafficking around the world.
Even in little Galway we have problems with trafficking and recently, Stephen even got a call from a man and his wife who had been trafficked to work without pay. The man and his wife live in a different county a few hours away, so thankfully Stephen was able to contact a church in their town to direct them to. Also, the church has been aware of others who have had this problem and are going to help them. Please pray for the victims of this horrendous crime.
Hopefully the walk helped to shed light on this crime to people in our area so they know what signs to look out for and of how to get help.
